Levin attended Camp New Amigos June 20-24, 2022. The camp was sponsored by Hearts for Autism for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. He really enjoyed it! There were all kinds of fun activities available such as arts & crafts, archery, horseback riding, rock wall climbing and many sensory activities. He especially enjoyed Friday’s swim day.
Camp New Amigos was created over a decade ago to serve children in the community with Autism. The camp is run in collaboration with New Mexico State University special education providers that serve the disorder. Camp is designed to have counselors engage children in physical activities and develop communication with peers.

Again in 2023, all kinds of fun activities were available such as arts & crafts, horseback riding, rock wall climbing, swimming and kayaking at the NMSU Aquatic Center. Friday was a fun family swim day!
